We are pleased (and somewhat anxious) to announce that we are changing over from our current EHR system to a new product, Office Practicum, that is pediatric-specific. We are confident that our new EHR will help us to do a better job of serving you and your children and in providing the kind of ground-breaking pediatric health care that we are known for! The new system should eventually help your child’s PCP to be faster and more efficient and should make for overall better communication. In addition, the new Patient Portal that comes with Office Practicum has features that most parents should love, including the ability to schedule appointments online.
But change can always be slow and painful! We ‘go live’ with our new software on Monday, September 25. We will be seeing fewer patients than usual during this period which may affect appointment availability. Please be patient with us, and please allow extra time for any time-sensitive requests such as forms and refill requests!
