Professional Experience

Dr. James Lace graduated from Lawrence University with a B. A. in 1970. He received his MD in 1974 from the University of Cincinnati Medical School. He did a 2 year pediatric residency at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and 1 year at OHSU Department of Pediatrics. He founded Childhood Health Associates of Salem in 1977. He is well known in the community for his efforts in child advocacy with the Oregon State Legislature and for his interest in third world medicine and the care of children in Africa with HIV.
