Professional Experience

Earned my B.S. in Child and Family Studies at Portland State University, and Masters of Social Work at Portland State University in 2019. I have a special educational focus in Play Therapy and Parent Education.  Before coming to work at CHAOS, I have worked in other Salem communities serving children including Marion County Children’s Behavioral Health, Family Building Blocks, and Salem Keizer School District. I have worked with children, youth and families for over 20 years supporting them in a multitude of environments including their homes, schools, and communities. I am excited to be a part of the CHAOS team as I believe integrative care that understands the importance of focusing on overall wellness including mental health is key in building resilience in the lives of children.

Personal Life

I was born and raised in Southern California and grateful I had the pleasure of growing up in a multicultural household and community.  I moved to the great northwest in 2001 and grew a love for the outdoors (even when it rains). My interests include spending time with my family, cooking, discovering local delicious food, watching action / suspense movies, and traveling locally as well as internationally when given the opportunity.
