Holiday Hours, Part Two

This coming Monday is New Year’s Eve. We traditionally work a shorter day on that holiday, just like we do for Christmas Eve, to allow our employees to have some fun with their friends and families. So we’ll be closing at 2 pm. Please call us early if you have a child who needs to be seen, or need our help with anything else.

New Year’s Day we will have a skeleton staff to see those few kids who can’t wait until the next day. This will operate like our Sunday clinic; you’ll need to call in the morning after 8:00 am and talk to our nurse if you think your child might need an appointment. As always, there will be a doctor on call for emergencies, but please be kind to them!

This weekend we will have our usual weekend hours, and then we will be back on Wednesday, 1/2/12 with our regular weekday hours.

Have a safe and happy New Year’s, and don’t forget to bring in new insurance information to us if you have a January appointment… many employers change health plans in January.

Open to Serve You on MLK and President's Day

Unlike many clinics and most public agencies, Childhood Health Associates of Salem is open regular hours on holidays such as Veteran’s Day, MLK Day, and President’s Day. This means you can bring your kids in for acute and chronic illnesses and well-child care on a day that they aren’t going to miss school! We only truly close for major holidays such as Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Year’s Day. Other holidays (such as Memorial Day and Labor Day) we are open to see patients but on a limited basis for urgent concerns only. In order to bring you this service, we do apply a small extra holiday charge.
