Our new PAs (physician assistants) have arrived! Margie Pascual PA-C and Diana Whiteaker PA-C have joined our ranks. They are just starting up, so for a while you’ll see them working alongside our more established providers so that they can get a feel for how things are done here at Childhood Health. Both of them did rotations with us as students so we feel privileged to have them back with us. They are both enthusiastic and talented young women and we’re sure that you will enjoy have them be involved with the care of your children.
Once they are ‘up and running’, they will be available to be PCPs for your children. Please consider one of them, or one of our other mid-levels, as a PCP for your child if you would like longer visits, better appointment availability, and a little more time with your child’s health care provider. Some children with complex health care needs should have a physician as their PCP; if your child has special health care needs then just ask us if they are appropriate for PA/PNP care on a routine basis.
