Reach Out and Read

reachoutandreadOur clinic has been participating in Reach Out and Read for over five years and is one of the first clinics in Oregon to participate. The goal of this program is to get more books in the young children's homes and encourage parents to read to their children. Study after study has shown that the amount of children's time spent with books directly increasing their school readiness and success. In addition, it is a fun activity for parents and children to do together.

We are especially honored to have Senator Gordon Smith and Ron Saxton visit our clinic on November 2nd and show their support of this great program. Photos are available at our clinic's photo site.
