Attention, Providence Customers!

If you work for the state of Oregon, then chances are you have health insurance through Providence. We’ve been informed that they have designated us as one of their Medical Homes, meaning that we are able to surround our patients with an extra level of care coordination compared to most medical offices in the area. Not only do patients who receive their health care at a Medical Home get better services, but premiums and copays are lower at a designated Medical Home. We continue to be committed to delivering not only the best care but also the best health care value in the Mid-Valley.

Copay Q&A

Q: I don’t have enough cash for my copay today. Can you bill me?

A: Copays are due at the time of service. For your convenience, we take cash and major credit cards at our reception desks, as well as checks. Checks must be for the exact amount and cannot be post-dated.

Q: I’ve had to bring my child in so many times lately. Can’t you just waive the copay?

A: Copays are a part of our contractual relationship with your insurance company. We are NOT allowed to see you child, waive the copay, and then charge the insurance company their portion. We can be fined or prosecuted for doing this. We will always try to work with you to keep costs down, including trying our hardest to avoid unnecessary testing and to prescribe generic medications whenever possible… but we are required by law to charge and collect your copay.
