Yes, the day has finally come! We are now located at 891 23rd Street NE, Salem. Our building is at the intersection of 23rd street and D street. 23rd Street intersects with D street about halfway between Lancaster St and Downtown. Closest large cross streets would be between Hawthorne and 17th. Click read more for area map and driving directions.
We are still settling in so excuse our mess but we are now up to full schedules as of Saturday October 6th. Pictures documenting our move are now available in the photo
gallery. We hope to add more in the near future as we collect pictures from everyone’s cameras so check back soon. Read more
Moving Day!

We are proud to announce that we are moving October 6th to our new building. Unfortunately we will be closed for that weekend beginning noon on Friday (10/6) until Monday AM when we open at our usual 0800. We are hoping to possibly open on Saturday AM but can’t guarantee at this time due to the uncertainties of getting a new building ready for quality patient care.
As always we will have physicians and nurses on call for urgent questions during this time. We apologize in advance for the reduced availability that weekend but we hope that this will only happen every 29 years (as long as Childhood Health has been in Salem). We look forward to serving your family’s healthcare needs in our new space!

Building completion

We are now entering the final phase of construction. Exterior planking is going on and interior walls are getting drywall. Completion is anticipated mid September with us moving first week in October. If you have an October or later appointment be sure to double check with the office as the dates get closer to make sure you go to the correct location. We will update our web site and on-hold phone message with more information as the date creeps closer. We are very excited about the big day approaching and thank all our patients and their families for their support during this transition. For an overview of the building project go here. Building is taking shape

Walls are up and roof construction has begun. Shape of the building is there and it is really getting exciting. Windows, ceilings, etc all coming in next few weeks. At this time we are on track for a September completion with move in soon after. Keep checking back for updates. Check out new photos.

Starting to look like a building now. Walls are going up with external framing being completed this week. Second story framing to begin next week. Foundation is poured

The foundation is taking shape on our new building. The basic outline of the building with evidence of where walls will be built can now be seen.
